EFQ meeting is getting more and more near – a couple of weeks – so the idea was: before working deeply on breaking songs like “soundcheck”, why not to make some exercises on some well known standard?
“Great idea!” we three thought, but which one? After a little of thinking, emailing, discussing, Damiano came out with this nice standard, “song for my father” by Horace Silver.
Here we report George Benson and Victor Wooten interpretation.
But remember, they do not make nerd jazz!
